Wednesday 21st September - BOATSHOW - This is going to be an intimate event in a friend's flat - a secret Brighton location.
Thursday 29th Sept - George Payne, Hove
Tuesday 4th Oct - Brunswick Cellar Bar, Brunswick pub, Hove. "The Dress Down" is an interactive gig exploring various songwriter topics taken from the traditional bridal rhyme 'somthing old, something new'. In addition to performing songs that fit these topics, the event incorporates a live interview with artists encouraging them to discuss the ideas and influences behind their material.
Perhaps best described as a groovy alternative acoustic tunesmith. Sorta like Rodriguez, Elliot Smith, Rufus Wainwright with a bit of the Flaming Lips thrown in.
"I'm continually impressed with the intricacy of Tim's songwriting and ability to captivate a crowd with relative ease. A very engaging and thought provoking performer" Richard Ward, Overhead Wires Promotions.
"Really good stuff man! Compositions are unpredictable and the production is ace. Unique character on your voice too." (Youth policy)
"I just love your voice - quiet to soaring, intense to relaxed...." Jan Ebert, London promoter.
"You have some particularly nice melodies...colourful additions & well selected sequences" (Robin Coward, musician and promoter)
Also, I really enjoy the part of this where I meet new people at gigs and have a chat. You can use this form below to let me know what you're up to, and in return I'll add you to my mailing list. Thanks!
